Standard Bank expands Treasury Division in Jersey

Standard Bank Offshore has expanded its Treasury Division with the appointment of Adrian Heelis who joins the bank as director of Treasury & Product.

Herman Wessels, Managing Director of Treasury & Product said "I am delighted with the appointment of Adrian to head up Standard Bank's Treasury Division. Adrian brings to Standard Bank a wealth of experience and expertise and his appointment is a testament to the Bank's continuing growth."

Adrian has previously worked as a bank dealer in London for ten years. He then moved to Jersey where his most recent position on the island was Head of Treasury covering foreign exchange, money markets and liquidity.

The opportunities within the organisation for growth and expansion into new and challenging markets provides a dynamic and challenging environment for the Treasury Division to continue to make its mark in the financial sector," said Mr Heelis.
