Skyler appoints new Global Products Director

Skyler Technology, a provider in low latency market data solutions for the capital markets, has announced the addition of Mark Ford to the management team. Mr. Ford brings over twenty-five years of experience from the financial services industry to Skyler.

Mr. Ford will be taking on a dual role, with responsibility for European product definition and implementation and responsibility for Global Product Strategy. He will report to Managing Director of Skyler Europe, Valerie Bannert-Thurner and Steve Cooper, Skyler CEO.

Mr. Ford joins Skyler Technology from London Stock Exchange's Proquote, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to the London Stock Exchange, Mr. Ford held several posts with Reuters including positions based in the UK, Switzerland and California and was responsible in the UK for Reuters product developments on the SSL Interface, including the original Reuters Terminal on SSL, Feed Handlers and added value applications.
