Olympia Capital Management appoints new MD

Laurent Dupeyron has joined Olympia Capital Management as a Managing Director, Head of Sales, Marketing and Product Development.

Laurent started his career in 1993 in Paris, working in the equity derivatives department of Société Générale. In 1996, he joined Goldman Sachs in London and in 2000 moved to Zurich to head the Goldman Sachs Bank Equities division in Switzerland. In 2002 he returned to London and co-headed the European Equity Financing business. He was named Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in 2004 and has been in charge of sales and marketing of equity structured products for the French speaking countries.

Laurent will be working closely with Marc Landeau who founded Olympia in 1989. "I am thrilled that someone of Laurent's stature and reputation in the financial markets has agreed to join us. I am convinced that his experience will help us grow and transform our business both in Europe and internationally" Landeau said.
