Northern Trust appoints Head of Infrastructure Fund Administration

Northern Trust has appointed Stephanie Saunders to head up its dedicated infrastructure fund administration team, part of Northern Trust's Real Estate and Infrastructure Fund Services Department, based in Guernsey.

Stephanie Saunders is responsible for managing a team of fund administration service professionals dedicated to infrastructure funds. She has close to 35 years' experience in the finance industry, with particular expertise in alternative fund administration.

In response to increasing demand from infrastructure funds for a dedicated service, Northern Trust launched a specialist infrastructure fund administration desk during 2007. This restructured team allows for a focus purely on infrastructure, while another team will focus on real estate.

Northern Trust provides a range of fund administration services to alternative and traditional fund vehicles across multiple jurisdictions, including Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate and Infrastructure. Infrastructure assets typically include anything from telecommunications and broadcast infrastructure to transport infrastructure - such as roads, rail and airports. They provide essential community services and have a predictable long-term cashflow.
