Jersey based Moore opens London office

Moore, the specialist provider of fund management, fund administration and corporate services based in Jersey, is opening an office in London headed by Simon Chadwick.

Simon has joined Moore from Bear Stearns Asset Management where he was a managing director in the Private Funds Group. He has 18 years of financial business development and management experience including 12 years with the Schroder Group. He is a specialist in private equity fund related business and has previously lived and worked in Japan, one of Moore’s key markets.

Ian Moore, chief executive, said: “We are pleased that Simon has decided to join us at an important point in the group’s expansion. We have worked with Simon previously over a number of years and his background and experience will contribute significantly to the growth of our business. The opening of London and Tokyo offices this year brings us closer to current and prospective clients for our range of offshore fund administration and management services”.

Moore, through its Jersey and Bermuda subsidiaries, is an established manager and administrator of offshore funds and special purpose investment vehicles. It administers and manages investments in excess of US$10bn, including approximately US$3bn of private equity funds. Moore has offices in London and Tokyo for business and client relationship development. The business was founded 11 years ago in Jersey by Ian Moore.
