CC Luxembourg provides support for fund administrators
Posted: 31 July 2008
Ongoing project for CCLux is the roll-out of its new collection platform, the CCLux Station to be used by investment fund administrators in Luxembourg for the transmission of investment fund data. CCLux disseminates this information to third-parties and publishes it on the CCLux website. It can also be used for transmission of regulatory reports to the CSSF and BCL. The CCLux Station is replacing the existing tool for data collection and is an innovative solution that uses a web-based platform and its existing "e-file.lu" application.
All fund administrators in Luxembourg will have migrated to the CCLux Station by 31 October 2008. At the moment, 34 entities are using the platform.
Regulatory reporting was important for CCLux during the first half of 2008. New reporting requirements for investment funds will mean the introduction of three new types of reports to be sent to the authorities, beginning 1 January 2009. CCLux has set up a user group made up of 9 fund administrators representative of fund accounting activities in Luxembourg. The results of this consultation process have allowed CCLux to ensure that all entities concerned can begin transmission of the new reports on the required date.
CCLux is a subsidiary of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The purpose of CCLux is to collect, manage and disseminate financial information related to the Luxembourg-registered investment funds (undertakings for collective investments - UCIs).
