Butterfield Bank appoint new Cayman Deputy MD

Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited recently welcomed a new Deputy Managing Director to its executive team. Mike McWatt joined the Bank on September 25, 2007 and was appointed to the Board of Directors on November 9, 2007.

In his role as Deputy Managing Director, Mr. McWatt will initially have responsibility for direction of the Banking Division, including delivery of products and solutions to help maximize the Bank's market position. "I am very pleased to be joining the Bank in the year of its 40th anniversary in the Cayman Islands and at a time when there are so many exciting new initiatives," Mike commented.
"I am looking forward to working with the Management Team to strengthen and expand the relationships we have with our customers and to help drive performance of all business lines. I am also looking forward to being a part of the Bank's continued growth and success in the Cayman Islands."
