Baring Asset Management makes key appointments in Guernsey office

Baring Asset Management (Barings), the international investment management firm, today announced the appointment of two key hires to its Guernsey office. Lynne Pellegrini joins as Director, Business Development, and Graham Glass joins as Senior Investment Manager. 

The appointments underline Barings' commitment to providing innovative global investment solutions within the corporate and high net worth space, through its presence in Guernsey.

Lynne joins from Legg Mason in Boston, Massachusetts where she was Head of US Private Banking Sales, responsible for the development of Legg's institutional private bank distribution efforts.  She spent the previous 10 years at Citigroup until December 2005 when Legg Mason purchased its Asset Management Unit.

Lynne was Director of North American Sales within Citigroup Asset Management, responsible for the firm's Ultra High Net Worth sales efforts in the US and Canada, and previously held the role of Regional Manager of Citigroup Private Trust Company.

Graham joins from UBS Asset Management where he was responsible for leading the global indexed credit team.

Prior to this he held a credit trading position with the Central Bank of Norway. Graham spent five years running the investment department at Generali Worldwide Insurance Company, focusing on government and credit fixed income institutional funds, and he spent three years within the company's Paris based fixed income team. He also held a portfolio management role at Kleinwort Benson (Gsy) Ltd.
