A Banner year for Olympia Capital Management

With over $6 billion in assets under management, Olympia has begun 2008 on a high note.

Olympia Star I, the 1.5B$ flagship fund, with an uninterrupted 17-year positive track record, is up 11.2% in 2007. Olympia Special Opportunities, the high conviction fund, finished its second year with a 20.4% performance and Olympia Long-Short Equity, one of the three thematic funds launched at the beginning of 2007, up by 20.7% despite a difficult climate for equities.

In 2007, Olympia launched three thematic funds (Olympia Global Macro, Olympia Market Neutral, Olympia Long-Short Equity), a niche strategy fund of hedge funds (Olympia Sucden Commodities) in partnership with Sucre et Denrées (a global commodity trading firm), and a concentrated fund (Olympia Five Stars) for a Japanese institution.
